Summary of Job Responsibilities

 

  • This individual will play a key role in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the Hotel and MICE portfolios at Marina Bay Sands.
  • Executing best-in-class work within relevant industries aimed at achieving business goals, in collaboration with leaders of Hotel and MICE operations and cross-business unit functions while upholding a high level of brand standard.

 

Scope of work includes:

 

Overall

 

  • Develop, orchestrate, and implement annual B2C and B2B integrated marketing strategies and initiatives that deliver business goals and increases market share, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • End-to-end management of brand marketing activations and campaigns from brief to execution, across paid, owned and earned channels, collaborating with colleagues from Social Media, Communications, Brand & Creative Services, Loyalty Marketing, Digital Marketing and more.
  • Be in attendance of regular meetings with various business units and ensure follow up on all relevant items.
  • Manage budget tracking, accruals, forecasting and all other financial requirements.

 

Hotel

  • Develop, orchestrate, and implement hotel brand marketing requirements including packages, steer content development and deployment on all relevant channels
  • Deliver efficient and effective media plans across key markets and target audiences.
  • Ensure articulation of hotel’s image and positioning adheres to brand guidelines, appeals to key target audiences, and is consistent across all channels.

 

MICE

  • Develop, orchestrate, and drive successful implementation of all sales & trade events and initiatives
  • Grow and develop Marina Bay district strategy
  • Collaborate with Brand Advertising & eCommerce teams to develop and produce marketing/promotional materials and other sales/marketing tools for target market/regional sectors that integrates hotel and other business units across the property where relevant.
  • Analysis of market and competitive trends, strong understanding of client database/target markets to drive better guest relations.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience

 

  • Proven track record of at least 8 years of brand marketing, including advertising & promotion, and demonstrated campaign and event management success.
  • Hotel/Tourism/ MICE Industry experienced candidates preferred.

 

Competencies

 

  • Independent, results oriented creative thinker.
  • Able to operate within tight deadlines under high pressure situations.
  • Excellent time management; high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill (English and Mandarin preferred)
  • Confident and flexible to work with various stakeholders with the ability to appreciate each business unit’s varied objectives, audience and required support.

 

Education & Certification

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
